Party Mode, Ranked Matches etc.
A invite-only variant of Free Mode. Party Mode throws everyone on the same team and sets everyone to respawn in the exact same locations. Also no police etc. in Party Mode. YOU can suggest, Party Mode is great for running around in Liberty City and causing all hell to break loose, damage evertything, kills etc.
Ranked Matches for PSN or Xbox live gives extra motivation for playing. On this mode winning is everything. Oh i rather see this Statue or something like this is out of focus. Concentrate or you will lose ranking and your life. Maximum rank is Level 10. You can unlock clothes, weapons, goodies, clothes for your online character etc.
Team Mafiya Work
You’re a member of a crew doing contract work for the mafiya – including such plum gigs as escorting wanted men, picking up MacGuffins and stealing cars. Work as a team to complete contracts before the time period ends and get the rewards. You’ll probably want to do your best to scupper the other crew’s work as well. Each contract you complete gives your team cash, and the crew with the most cash at the end of the round wins.
Team Car Jack City
Cars spawn parked around the map and the teams must steal them and take them to a drop off point. The cash teams get for dropping off stolen vehicles depends on their condition – teams get less cash the more damaged they are. The exception to this are special bonus cars, stuffed with drugs, which give a set amount of cash on delivery no matter how damaged they are. Your crew has to get hold of whatever vehicles the boss wants. Whichever crew makes the most money wins. Simple.
Rush to the cars that are represented by blips on your radar. Take them to the drop off point as fast as possible. It’s best to gather one teammate in the car and have other teammates fend off the opposing side.
Players work as a team to rub out other teams for money – and the crew with the most cash at the end of the round wins. Take the other crew down. Remember to loot the cash dropped by deceased players, that’s the way to get ahead.
This mode is not all about kills. You need cash! Grab as much cash as you can and you will win the round. Stay with your team. It’s best to not go rogue and do whatever you want. This is team deathmatch, and I emphasize the word team!
Tip: Try to stay crouched, instead of standing. It will make you much harder to hit and makes you much more accurate.
GRAND TEFT AUTO 5 Cops N Crooks
(2 Teams Only)
A team-based GTA 5 Online mode in which the Crooks must get their Boss to safety, while the Cops have to take him down. The Boss is marked with a cross hair. This mode has two sub-modes: All for One and One for All.
In All for One, one team is made up of Crooks and a Boss, and the other team is made up of Cops. The Cops are trying to hunt down and kill the Boss while the Crooks are trying to protect him. The Cops win by killing the Boss and the Crooks win by getting the Boss safely to the getaway vehicle and escaping.
One for All is similar but there is no Boss. Here, the Cops win by killing all of the Crooks and the Crooks win by filling up a getaway vehicle with members of their team. Only 4 people can escape in the getaway vehicle. Players cannot respawn in this mode.
Both of these variations can be won by the Cops if they manage to destroy the getaway vehicle.
In this mode, it is best for those on the crooks team to help get a car as fast as possible for their boss. If you are the boss, stay in a safe place until they have a car to pick you up. Do whatever you have to in order to stay alive, and if you are helping the boss, keep him alive at all costs.
If you are the Cops going after the Boss and his Crooks, do everything you can in order to stop him. Ram the vehicle that he is riding in as much as possible. Other players should work on blocking roads or going after and destroying the vehicle. All of the players on the team should constantly fire weapons at the boss and his vehicle. Only chase after the boss! Do not chase the henchmen in an opposite direction.
(2 Teams Only)
A timed capture-the-base mode. There are a number of bases around the map that you have to take by standing on them for a short period of time. The more players that are on a base, the faster it can be captured. The more bases that your team owns, the faster your team’s cash score increases. If the rival gang is on or near a base, you won’t be able to take control of it – so do what you can to try and… displace them. The team with the most cash at the end of the round wins.
Bomb da Base II
Bomb da Base II has a name that is a homage to a great mission in Grand Theft Auto III. In this mode, you and your team fly in a helicopter to a boat where you must infiltrate and then plant bombs. After finding the door to the boat (which may seem hidden but is not), you have the choice of going in either of two different directions to plant the bombs. Choose wisely, but watch out for explosive canisters on the ship!
Hangman’s NOOSE is designed as a four-player co-op mission with loose ties to the single-player story. In this particular scenario, you start at the airport tarmac, with numerous NOOSE (National Office Of Security Enforcement) cops flooding into the location. Your team’s first priority is to take out as many as you can—and pick up any money left behind, if you want to take the time (which, again, factor into the final rankings when it’s over). More will appear in SWAT-style armored vans, so you’ll never be totally free of the law.
Once you’ve managed to hold off the onrushing cops, Kenny the crime boss will emerge from one of the airplanes needing to be transported to a safe zone at a baseball field in the city. As with most of the modes, there’s a flexibility to what happens next, whether you take one of the nearby vehicles, including the NOOSE trucks or perhaps find an aerial transport (hey, it is an airport). The issue is that there’s five of you needing to make the trip, and you can only fit four in any one ride, so the team does have to split up somewhat for this next part of the trek.
The added beauty of Hangman’s NOOSE is that everyone needs to make it to the extraction point and be in there together before the match will end. There’s nothing more exhilarating—or frustrating or dangerous or swear-word inducing—than to have all by one straggling member of the team in the safe zone with Kenny. Do you go out and help him make his way there, or stay at the extraction point, knowing that the number of heavily armed cops closing on your location is growing?
Everyone tries to get the drugs. Chaos!
A big deal is going down between the biker gang and the mafia. you need to bust the party, grab the stuff and kill all witnesses. Watch out!
Car Jack City

It’s a complete free for all! Anything goes, and you can use any tactics you like to kill off the competition. Confined to specific areas of Liberty City in order to keep the action intense.
Race to the finish through each checkpoint in order. If you take a wrong turn or mess up in some way, you can respawn your vehicle on the last checkpoint you passed. There is a large selection of races for cars, boats, and helicopters – you can choose laps and vehicle class/type. This mode has two sub-modes: Free Race and Cannonball Run.
Free Race are point-to-point races. First one to reach the end point wins.
Cannonball Run are races where you have to traverse several checkpoints any way you can.
Tip: Be very careful on turns. Avoid taking turns at high speeds. Anticipate and go slower than you think you should be going. This will guarantee that you can look behind you after the turn and see lots of other players who failed to make the turn successfully!
Similar to the orthodox Race, but with the added element of combat. Race and fight your way through the checkpoints in order and then hit the finish, but this time you can also pick up the weapons spawned en route to help take out your opponents. You can also exit the vehicle during the road races.
Tip: If you have no chance of winning, or if you don’t care about winning, set up road blocks using large vehicles such as busses or line up many cars to keep racers from completing the race! Find where the first place car will be in a few seconds and block him for maximum satisfaction! He will be very frustrated.
And for sur there is the Freeroam mode
Like single-player, except playing with your friends. Complete free for all. No rules, no objectives, no score. You’re free to do whatever you wish. The vast expanse of Liberty City is all yours for the taking. Explore the world with a few friends and show that secret passageway or the location of a hidden package they’re struggling to get. No objectives, just a simple go anywhere, do anything kinda mode which seems to be a response to pleas from the community for such a gametype.
Well that all existed in GTA 4. Now guys which of them are on your wishlist for GTA 5?
Maybe a survival mode?
